NA
Nelson Advisors have been invited to extend their Health Executive in Residence at UCL Global Business School for Health into a 5th year.
1. Introduction
The Health Executives in Residence (HEiR) Mentorship Programme is a strategic initiative of the
UCL Global Business School for Health (GBSH), the world’s first business school solely
dedicated to health and healthcare management.
Established within the Faculty of Population Health Sciences at University College London (UCL), GBSH is committed to reimagining global healthcare leadership by equipping students with the skills, mindset, and networks to transform the delivery and management of healthcare.
GBSH's mission is to improve health outcomes globally through education, research,
innovation, and professional collaboration. As part of this mission, the HEiR Programme brings
together seasoned senior executives from across the health sector to mentor and guide MBA
Health students, bridging academic theory with practical leadership in health systems.
2. Purpose
The HEiR Mentorship Programme aims to:
• Equip GBSH students, particularly those in the MBA Health programme, with strategic
insights into leadership and management in healthcare.
• Provide mentorship and career development support through direct engagement with
industry leaders.
• Strengthen the connection between GBSH and the healthcare industry.
• Enrich student learning with real-world examples and sector expertise.
