Saudi Arabia's Global Health Exhibition is set to return in October as the country strengthens its position as one of the world's fastest-growing healthcare markets.

Last year's event saw the signing of over $35.5bn (£26bn) in healthcare agreements across hospital infrastructure, life sciences, digital health and international healthcare partnerships

Launched in 2018, the exhibition has grown faster than almost any comparable event in international healthcare since then, with more than 131,000 attendees in 2025.

'Reimagine the future of health'

The event is being organised by Tahaluf, under the patronage of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health, and supports the country's Vision 2030 Health Sector Transformation Program.

It was described as a place where "visionary investors, pioneering startups, and technology leaders convene to reimagine the future of health and then build it", by Saudi Arabia's minister of health.

Mr Fahad bin Abdulrahman Aljalajel added that: "With one of the world's fastest-growing health markets, Saudi Arabia has emerged as the natural home for the world's fastest-growing health exhibition."

Senior representatives of Eli Lily, the world's most valuable pharmaceutical company, have also praised the event.

Mostafa Abdelrahman, President and General Manager of Eli Lilly Saudi Arabia, described last year's Global Health Exhibition as a "valuable opportunity" for the company.

New clinical zones

Tahaluf has announced that this year's event will feature three new clinical zones - a dental zone, an orthopaedics and rehabilitation zone and a dermatology and aesthetics zone.

There will also be a host of new programmes and changes, including:

Capital Xchange - Will introduce structured sessions on capital deployment and healthcare policy, curated site visits to Saudi facilities and research centres, and a reverse pitching format in which corporations and investors present their requirements directly to start-ups. This is designed to build on the 2025 investor track, which brought together more than 200 investors managing a combined $65bn of assets under management across 40 countries.

The return of the NextGen Pitch Competition - Welcoming 54 healthcare startups and scaleups from around the world, participants will gain access to investors, healthcare leaders and strategic partners, while presenting innovations across digital health and AI, bio and life sciences and medtech. For the first time, all semi-finalists and finalists will participate in a dedicated investor networking programme designed to create direct connections with investors and decision-makers attending the event.

Leaders Club 100 - A new invitation-only initiative that will connect government ministers, chief executives, and senior decision-makers through private roundtables and dedicated networking sessions.
Pulse Studio podcast - A live podcast facility on the exhibition floor, which will feature one-on-one in-depth interviews with healthcare leaders, further extending the event's reach.
